[LEGEND] A corporate polymath, he was a lawyer, financier, and business owner. He epitomizes the third attribute of the B-Boy Guide’s Code of Business: “Have Heart.” He seems to have internalized the immortal words of KRS ONE, “But here’s where the problem starts ‘NO HEART’. Because of that a lot of crews fell apart.”
There was no stopping him. Reginald Lewis not only dared to dream big … he had the heart to turn his dreams into reality. Whether his dream was attending Harvard Law School (first person to be admitted without formally applying), working at the prestigious NYC law firm Paul Weiss, starting his own Wall Street law firm, or becoming a successful financier (he was a one-man deal team), Reginald Lewis is the definition of a legend. He was even the CEO of a Fortune 500 company (TLC Beatrice International) and a generous philanthropist.
If Mr. Lewis were alive today, he would certainly be a member of the B-Board of Directors of many companies. Reginald Lewis changed the game … for everyone. And is still #1!
